Meander Valley Training Group

Our purpose
A supportive peer training group for dog sport competitors in North/North West Tassie. Positive promotion of dog sports to the wider community with the aim of increasing performance sport participation ultimately improving quality of life and relationships for dogs and their humans.
Sessions are be planned, guided, and mentored by experienced dog sport competitors and/or judges. Members are encouraged to observe each other, ask lots of questions, have discussions, and be open to providing and receiving constructive feedback.
Sports included:
Agility, Tricks, Rally, Obedience, Scent Work, and Dances With Dogs in the future.
Sessions focus on 1-2 sports and are influenced by the Dogs Tas trial calendar.
Where and When:
Hagley Recreation Grounds
33 Meander Valley Rd, Hagley
Wednesdays 4PM or/and Saturdays 2PM
Rostered dates/times are posted on a private FB group 3 months in advance.
Membership and Cost:
All Experience Levels Welcome - Beginner to Experienced. For anyone currently engaging in performance dog sports, OR are wanting to do so in the future.
For liability purposes attendees need to join the Canine Performance Association of Tasmania.
$6 per Dog each session (+ CPAT yearly membership fee between $15-$20.50)
